Poppets Baby Warranty & Returns Policy 

At Poppets Baby, we strive to provide high-quality, durable products that you’ll love. If for any reason you’re not satisfied with your order, we offer a return or exchange within 30 days of purchase, provided the items are returned in an unwashed, unused, and saleable condition with proof of purchase.

You are responsible for return shipping costs, and we recommend obtaining proof of postage. 

Cosmetic Items 

For health and hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns on cosmetic items such as dusting powder, wipe solution, and lip/nipple balms. However, if these items are faulty, they are covered under our warranty and can be returned for a replacement or refund. 

Faulty Items 

If you receive a faulty or damaged item, please contact us with photographs and order details. Faulty returns are assessed individually for a quick resolution. 

What’s Covered Under Our Warranty 

Our 12-month warranty covers manufacturing defects in: 

  • Fabric and PUL 
  • Stitching 
  • Poppers and fastenings 
  • Zippers 

What’s Not Covered 

The following are not considered manufacturing defects: 

  • Slight relaxing of elastics 
  • Variations in snap placement 
  • Fading or colour runs 
  • Snags, pilling, or leaks 
  • Normal wear and tear 

Damage Due to Incorrect Care 

Our warranty does not cover damage caused by improper care or excessive laundering. This includes: 

  • PUL delamination or degradation from constant high-temperature washing, sun exposure, extreme cold weather exposure, or tumble drying 
  • Damage from washing above 60°C, or washing with open hook-and-loop fasteners 
  • Damage from laundry cleansers, disinfectants, water softeners, fabric softeners, bleach, vinegar, harsh stain removers, or barrier creams 
  • Excessive wear and tear

To extend the life of your nappies, we recommend washing at 40°C more often than 60°C. While a 60°C wash can be used when necessary (e.g., during illness), frequent washing at 60°C will cause the PUL to deteriorate faster. Avoid leaving nappies in a wet, unwashed state for more than two to three days, and change your baby every 2-3 hours, or when the nappy is saturated (whichever comes first), to prevent prolonged exposure to urine. Remove inserts before storing nappies in a wet bag or nappy pail. Dry your nappies away from direct heat and sunlight, and store them in a cool, dry place, protected from extreme weather conditions when not in use. Inserts and cloth wipes can be tumble dried, but excessive tumble drying will, over time, cause them to break down faster than line drying. Factors such as washing methods, stash size, water hardness, and frequency of use can also affect the longevity of your nappies. Because these variables make it difficult to predict the lifespan beyond a certain point, we offer a generous 12-month warranty to provide peace of mind during this time. 

Fair Use Policy 

Please ensure that returns are not due to normal wear, misuse, or accidental damage. We cannot accept returns for items that show these signs. Warranty claims can only be made by the original buyer.
